Introduction Of Nuwakot District: Its Geography and Historicity Introduction According to Government of Nepal District Coordinating Committee Nuwakot, Nuwakot district is one of the hilly districts under Bagmati province. Spread over a total area of 1,121 sq km, the district headquarters is at Bidur. Located in the hilly region without touching any international border and geographically divided, this district is spread almost crescent-shaped east-west. The district has a variety of geographical features, including high plateaus, the southern slopes of the mountains, the smooth valleys and tars scattered in the middle of the hills.
