2. Bardiya National Park
Bardiya National Park is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Covering an area of 968 km2 . it is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in Nepal's Terai. The park located in the far western district of Bardiya, is bordered by River Karnali in the west, the Churia range in the north, while the River Babai flows right through. It is home to the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and Nepal's famous one-horned rhinoceros.
3. Upper Mustang
Mustang formerly Kingdom of Lo. Mustang is a remote and isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. Upper Mustang is a restricted area and up till 1992 it was forbidden for foreign visitors to enter the kingdom. Nowadays foreigners are welcome to Upper Mustang for a permit fee of US$ 500. In a Mustang majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetic languages. Tibetan culture has been preserved by the relative isolation of the region from the outside world.

The Sagarmatha National Park is the highest national park in world, located above 3000 meters . The park comprises the upper catchment areas of Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi Rivers. 6. Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the districts of Nawalparasi, Parsa, Chitwan and Makwanpur
