2. Bardiya National Park

Bardiya National Park is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Covering an area of 968 km2 . it is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in Nepal's Terai. The park located in the far western district of Bardiya, is bordered by River Karnali in the west, the Churia range in the north, while the River Babai flows right through. It is home to the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and Nepal's famous one-horned rhinoceros.

3. Upper Mustang

Mustang formerly Kingdom of Lo. Mustang is a remote and isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. Upper Mustang is a restricted area and up till 1992 it was forbidden for foreign visitors to enter the kingdom. Nowadays foreigners are welcome to Upper Mustang for a permit fee of US$ 500. In a Mustang majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetic languages. Tibetan culture has been preserved by the relative isolation of the region from the outside world.

4. Pokhara Valley

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a centre of adventure. It lies in the western part of the Nepal. This enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, rafting.

5. Sagarmatha National Park

Sagarmatha National Park is home of the highest peak in the world - Mt. Everest (8,848 m). The area was declared national park in 1976. The park which also has several other peaks all above 6,000 m. The Sagarmatha National Park is the highest national park in world, located above 3000 meters . The park comprises the upper catchment areas of Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi Rivers. Most part of the landscape is rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas.

6. Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the districts of Nawalparasi, Parsa, Chitwan and Makwanpur

7. Lumbini

Lumbini is a famous Buddhist site in the Lumbini District of Nepal. Lumbini is considered the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Lumbini is located in the south-central Terai of Nepal, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. For millions of Buddhists the world over, it evokes a kind of holy sentiment to the significance of Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to Muslims. Lumbini is the place where Lord Buddha - the apostle of peace, and the Light of Asia - was born in 623 B.C.

8. Poon Hill

Poon Hill (3210m / 10,532 ft) is a popular destination for trekkers in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Most people arrive here in the early morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise views.

9. Rara Lake

The Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest fresh water lake in the Nepal . It is located in the Jumla and Mugu Districts On the area of Rara National park. It has covered 1,583 ha (6.11 sq mi).

10. Gosaikunda

Gosaikunda is an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake in Nepal's Langtang National Park, , a lake situated at about 4380 meters in the Rasuwa Distric.and above sea level falls under Dhunche-Gosaikunda-Helambu trekking route, one of the most popular trekking routes.
